APPLYING YOUR GEL NAIL STRIPS

ACHIVE THE PERFECT MANICURE WITH LEHMANI GEL NAIL STRIPS

  • STEP 1 - PREPARE YOUR NAILS

    • Remove any existing nail polish using a gentle, acetone-free nail polish remover.
    • Shape your nails to your desired length and style using a nail clipper or file.
    • Gently push back your cuticles with a cuticle pusher or wooden stick, being careful not to cut them excessively as they serve as a protective barrier. For a more gentle cuticle removal, apply nail oil before pushing them back.
    • Create a smooth canvas by lightly buffing the surface of your nails. Avoid over-buffing to maintain nail strength.
    • Cleanse your nails thoroughly using water and soap or a gentle nail cleanser. Ensure your nails are completely dry and free from any oil before proceeding.
  • STEP 2 - PREPPING FOR GEL NAIL STRIP APPLICATION

    • Select the appropriate gel nail strip size for each nail, ensuring a snug fit without overlapping the cuticles or sidewalls.
    • Position the gel nail strip on your nail starting from the cuticle area and pressing down firmly towards the front. Make sure the strip covers the entire nail surface and gently stretch if needed, but avoid over-stretching as it can damage the gel nail strip. Smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles by carefully pressing the nail strip onto the nail.
    • Use a cuticle picker to gently push down the edges around the nail for a seamless finish.
  • STEP 3 - APPLYING GEL NAIL STRIPS

    • Trim the excess length using nail clippers or scissors close to your natural nail.
    • Cure under a UV LED light for 60 seconds. The Lehmani light will automatically turn itself off when the 60 seconds has passed.
    • Give your nails the perfect shape and finish by filing them to your desired look.

REMOVING YOUR GEL NAIL STRIPS

HOW TO SAFTLY REMOVE YOUR GEL NAIL STRIPS

  • STEP 4 - GENTLE REMOVAL OF GEL NAIL STRIPS

    • To remove the gel nail strips, gently lift the edge of the strip using a cuticle pusher.
    • Peel off the gel nail strip slowly, applying gentle pressure to avoid damaging the natural nail. For easier removal, apply cuticle oil between the gel nail and your natural nail, massaging it gently to loosen the strip.
    • If any residue remains on your nail after removing the gel nail strip, use a gentle nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad to clean the nail surface. You can also use cuticle oil for added nourishment.
    • After removing the gel nail strips, keep your nails and cuticles moisturized with cuticle oil to provide nourishment. We also recommend using a nurturing nail hardener in-between applications when needed.
  • STEP 5 - MAINTAINING NAIL HEALTH AND STRENGHT

    • Protect your nails by wearing gloves when engaging in household chores or handling harsh chemicals.
    • Regularly moisturize your hands and nails with a nourishing hand cream to prevent dryness and maintain flexibility.
    • Avoid using your nails as tools for tasks like opening cans or scratching surfaces to prevent potential damage.
    • Follow these steps, and you'll be on your way to achieving stunning, long-lasting manicures with gel nail strips.
